Inleiding
Op damwand met duiker geplaatst 19de-eeuws TOEGANGSHEK in Electische trant behoort bij de in hoofdzaak negentiende-eeuwse 'Hoogkraan'. 'Hoogkraan' is een beelbepalende onderdeel van een reeks van historische boerenhofstedes in de Achterhovenerpolder langs de Rijn, waar zich al lang geleden een permanente nederzetting van acht hofsteden bevond.
Omschrijving
Concaaf gemetselde dakwand met natuurstenen hoekblokken en in neuten in het midden, waar de staanders van het hekwerk zijn geplaatst. Het smeedijzeren hekwerk bestaat uit twee met gekrulde vleugelstukken uitgevoerde opengewerkte staanders, waar onder de decoratieve bekroning vergulde letters de naam van de boerderij 'HOOG' 'KRAAN' vormen.
