Inleiding
De Israëlitische BEGRAAFPLAATS is begin 19e eeuw aangelegd en in 1929 ommuurd. De begraafplaats ligt tussen de Lyceumstraat, de Sparstraat en de Carmelstraat. Het tegen de oostelijke muur gebouwde baarhuisje is voor bescherming van ondergeschikt belang.
Omschrijving
Ommuurde begraafplaats met diverse grafstenen. De muur is grotendeels uitgevoerd in rode baksteen met ezelsruggen en steunberen onder zandstenen afdekplaten. Delen van de muur zijn vernieuwd in afwijkende materialen en vormen. Het smeedijzeren toegangshek in de zuidzijde van de muur is recentelijk vernieuwd.

Israëlitische begraafplaats van algemeen cultuurhistorische en stedebouwkundige waarde:
