Omschrijving
St.Plechelmuskerk. Romaanse zandstenen kruisbasiliek uit de 2e helft der 12e eeuw, opgetrokken volgens het gebonden stelsel met volledige overkluizing van ribloze kruisgewelven. Gotisch koor midden 15e eeuw; gotische zuider zijbeuk 1480. Inventaris: orgel, doopvont, preekstoel, zerk, beeldhouwwerk. Orgel met Hoofdwerk, Bovenwerk en Pedaal, in 1889 gemaakt door J.F. Witte voor de v.m. Grote Kerk te Hoorn. In 1970 overgeplaatst naar Oldenzaal.

Description
St. Plechelmus Church. Romanesque sandstone cruciform basilica from the second half of the 12th century, built according to the unified system with complete vaulting of ribless cross vaults. Gothic choir mid-15th century; Gothic south aisle 1480. Inventory: organ, baptismal font, pulpit, gravestone, sculpture. Organ with Great, Upper and Pedal divisions, made in 1889 by J.F. Witte for the aforementioned Great Church at Hoorn. In 1970 moved to Oldenzaal.
