Inleiding
Langs de oprijlaan ligt circa 100 meter voor de brug naar het voorplein een dienstwoning uit de 17de eeuw met daar achter een duiventoren.
Omschrijving
De DIENSTWONING is gebouwd op een rechthoekige plattegrond en bestaat uit twee bouwlagen opgetrokken in baksteen onder met pannen gedekt schilddak met op de begane grond schuifvensters met luiken en op de verdieping drie lage vensters met luiken. De westelijke gevel is geheel gesloten. Eenvoudige gootlijst op consoles met op het dak twee vierkante schoorstenen.
Waardering
De DIENSTWONING, deeluitmakend van een ensemble van dienstwoning en duiventoren, is van algemeen belang:
- vanwege de architectuurhistorische waarden (goed voorbeeld van een 17de-eeuwse dienstwoning);
- vanwege de ensemblewaarde;
- als karakteristiek onderdeel van de buitenplaats Oldenaller;

Description
The SERVANT'S COTTAGE is built on a rectangular plan and consists of two storeys constructed in brick under a tiled hipped roof with on the ground floor sash windows with shutters and on the upper floor three low windows with shutters. The western facade is completely closed. Simple cornice on consoles with on the roof two square chimneys.
Valuation
The SERVANT'S COTTAGE, forming part of an ensemble of servant's cottage and dovecote, is of general importance:
- on account of architectural-historical values (good example of a 17th-century servant's cottage);
- on account of ensemble value;
- as a characteristic component of the country estate Oldenaller;
- on account of the distinctive location on the drive.
