Omschrijvinf onderdeel 12: DIENSTWONINGEN (Kruitmolen 2-4).
Inleiding
Twee gekoppelde DIENSTWONINGEN voor beheerders, behorend bij de Springstoffenfabriek in Ouderkerk aan de Amstel en gebouwd omstreeks 1940 in Traditionalistische stijl. De woningen vormen de oostelijke pendant van twee identieke dubbelwoningen. Ze staan ten zuiden van het complex.
Omschrijving
Massa van twee gespiegelde woningen op rechthoekige plattegrond met aankapping op het noorden en een west-oost gerichte nok. De éénlaagse woningen zijn opgetrokken in machinale baksteen, gemetseld in kettingverband. Het zadeldak is voorzien van rode Oudhollandse pannen.
De voorgevels worden ingedeeld door grote, secundair geplaatste vensters. Daarboven zijn dakkapellen opgenomen die de dakgoot onderbreken. In de kopgevels zijn de voordeuren, verdiepingsvensters en nokankers aanwezig. De achtergevels bevatten per woning een deur, een venster en een deur onder de aankapping. Bovendien bezit het dak ook aan deze zijde een dakkapel.

De DIENSTWONINGEN zijn van algemeen belang:

Introduction
Two adjoining SERVICE DWELLINGS for managers, belonging to the Explosives Factory in Ouderkerk aan de Amstel and built circa 1940 in Traditionalist style. The dwellings form the eastern counterpart of two identical semi-detached dwellings. They stand to the south of the complex.
Description
Mass of two mirrored dwellings on rectangular ground plan with a lean-to on the north and a west-east oriented ridge. The single-storey dwellings are constructed in machine-made brick, laid in running bond. The gabled roof is furnished with red Old Dutch tiles.
The front facades are articulated by large, secondarily placed windows. Above these roof dormers are incorporated that interrupt the roof gutter. In the end gables the front doors, upper-storey windows and roof-ridge anchors are present. The rear facades contain per dwelling a door, a window and a door under the lean-to. Moreover the roof also has a roof dormer on this side.
Valuation
The SERVICE DWELLINGS are of general importance:
