TUINBEELD OP SOKKEL: 'FLORA' (OF 'DIANA'). Natuurstenen tuinbeeld: Flora (of Diana), datering ca. 1740-1750, op bijpassende sokkel. Het bijbehorende beeld 'Hercules' (onderdeel 17) is gesigneerd door J. Gilles. Vermoedelijk is dit beeld van dezelfde hand. Mogelijk afkomstig van de buitenplaats Zijdebalen en in 1820 voor de buitenplaats De Tempel aangekocht door de familie Criellaert. Het beeld staat thans (1997) aan de achterzijde van het huis De Tempel.

GARDEN SCULPTURE ON PLINTH: 'FLORA' (OR 'DIANA'). Stone garden sculpture: Flora (or Diana), dating c. 1740-1750, on matching plinth. The related sculpture 'Hercules' (component 17) is signed by J. Gilles. This sculpture is presumably by the same hand. Possibly originating from the country estate Zijdebalen and purchased in 1820 for the country estate De Tempel by the Criellaert family. The sculpture currently stands (1997) at the rear of the house De Tempel.
