De rondom het landhuis gelegen TUINAANLEG werd in 1912 in geometrische stijl ontworpen door de tuinarchitect D.F. Tersteeg. Deze aanleg telt ongeveer vier hectare en vormt de overgang tussen de bosrijke omgeving en het landhuis. De overgang vanuit het huis wordt bewerkstelligd door de aanleg van terrassen en trappartijen die de bel-etage verbinden met de tuin. De aanleg van de tuin bestaat uit terrasvormige paden, gazons, vijvers en waterwerken aan de voorzijde en een waterpartij met kademuren aan de oostzijde van het huis.
Het voorgedeelte wordt omgrensd door de druppelvormige oprijlaan. Vanaf het inrijhek splitst de oprijlaan zich in tweeën om vanaf het verst uiteenlopende punt in een halfronde cirkel bij het huis onder het terras uit te komen. De aanleg van de tuin is gespiegeld om een lengteas tussen het huis en het inrijhek. De aanleg is ongeveer 150 meter lang. De tuin is terrasvormig aangelegd en loopt vanaf het verhoogd gelegen huis naar beneden om uit te monden in de verdiept gelegen grote vijver. Deze centraal gelegen vijver heeft een grote fontein. Eromheen zijn muurtjes, balustrades en overloopbassin aangebracht. Aan de noordzijde van de vijver is een brug geplaatst. In de richting van het huis is een cascade aangebracht, die in verbinding staat met een hoger gelegen, kleinere vijver die halfronde zijden heeft. Een muur met een tweetal trappen scheidt de vijver van het hoger gelegen terras. In de muur zijn een aantal waterspuwers aangebracht die de vijvers voeden. Het terras grenst aan de trappen naar het terras aan het huis dat op het niveau van de bel-etage gelegen is. De wanden van de terrasvijver zijn afgedekt met natuurstenen platen. De oprijlaan wordt afgescheiden van de tuin op de middenas door in coulissen geplante heesters en bomen. Tussen de heesters zijn op enkele plaatsen kleine halfronde banken geplaatst op een ronde basis. De banken hebben op de hoeken gemetselde bakstenen pijlers met natuurstenen bekroningen.
Aan de oostzijde van het huis ligt een grote verzandde vijver met kademuren. Deze vijver loopt als slingervijver in noordoostelijke richting door en eindigt in een kom met een eiland in het midden.
Waardering complexonderdeel 2
De tuinaanleg is van cultuurhistorische waarde als onderdeel van een jongere buitenplaats. Het is van architectuurhistorische waarde vanwege de tuinstijl en de plaats in het oeuvre van de architect alsmede van situationele waarde in relatie tot het huis.

The GARDEN LAYOUT situated around the country house was designed in 1912 in geometric style by landscape architect D.F. Tersteeg. This layout encompasses approximately four hectares and forms the transition between the wooded surroundings and the country house. The transition from the house is accomplished through the creation of terraces and flights of steps that connect the bel-etage with the garden. The garden layout consists of terraced paths, lawns, ponds and water features at the front and a water feature with quay walls on the east side of the house.
The front section is bounded by the teardrop-shaped drive. From the entrance gate the drive splits in two and from the furthest diverging point curves in a semicircular circle to the house under the terrace. The garden layout is mirrored around a longitudinal axis between the house and the entrance gate. The layout is approximately 150 metres long. The garden is laid out in terraced fashion and slopes downward from the elevated house to terminate in the sunken large pond. This centrally located pond has a large fountain. Around it are small walls, balustrades and overflow basin placed. On the north side of the pond a bridge is positioned. Towards the house a cascade is constructed, which is connected to a higher located, smaller pond which has semicircular sides. A wall with two flights of steps separates the pond from the higher located terrace. In the wall a number of water spouts are placed which feed the ponds. The terrace borders the steps to the terrace at the house which is located at the level of the bel-etage. The walls of the terrace pond are covered with natural stone slabs. The drive is separated from the garden on the central axis by shrubs and trees planted in coulisses. Between the shrubs small semicircular benches are placed on a round base in several locations. The benches have at the corners brick pillars with natural stone caps.
On the east side of the house lies a large sandy pond with quay walls. This pond continues as a meandering pond in a north-easterly direction and ends in a basin with an island in the middle.

The garden layout is of cultural-historical value as part of a more recent country estate. It is of architectural-historical value because of the garden style and the place in the architect's oeuvre as well as of situational value in relation to the house.
