Aan het begin van de oprijlaan, in de nabijheid van het koetshuis, bevinden zich twee hardstenen, vaasvormige TOEGANGSPIJLERS in Lodewijk XV stijl. De pijlers hebben een vierkante grondvorm of voet. De schacht bolt naar onder toe uit en is aan alle vier de zijden voorzien van een spaarveld waarin acanthusbladeren zijn uitgehakt. Hierboven bevindt zich een geprofileerde kroonlijst waarin de rechterpijler `HET HUIS' en in de linkerpijler `TER WEGE' is gegraveerd. De pijlers worden bekroond door een bolvormig motief met acanthusbladeren.
Waardering
De twee hekpijlers van het huis Ter Wege zijn van architectuurhistorische waarde vanwege detaillering alsmede van ensemblewaarde als onderdeel van de buitenplaats Ter Wege.

At the beginning of the drive, in the vicinity of the coach house, are two stone, vase-shaped ENTRANCE PILLARS in Louis XV style. The pillars have a square ground form or base. The shaft bulges outward at the bottom and is provided on all four sides with a spare field in which acanthus leaves are carved. Above this is a profiled cornice in which the right pillar bears 'HET HUIS' and in the left pillar 'TER WEGE' is engraved. The pillars are crowned with a spherical motif with acanthus leaves.
Valuation
The two gate pillars of the house Ter Wege are of architectural-historical value because of detailing as well as of ensemble value as part of the country estate Ter Wege.
