Inleiding
Voormalig POLDERHUIS, gesitueerd op de kop (Z) van het complex en voorzien van een dakterras vanwaar men onder meer een overzicht kreeg van de poldermolens (verdwenen tegen 1890). Het in sobere neo-classicistische trant uitgevoerde polderhuis is een blokvormig volume onder schilddak dat door hoogte en witte kleur een opvallende positie inneemt aan de noord-oostrand van de Beemsterpolder.
Omschrijving
Op rechthoekig grondplan gebouwd polderhuis bestaande uit twee bouwlagen onder afgeplat schilddak met zwarte kruispan. Het afgeplatte gedeelte van het schilddak fungeert als dakterras met omgaande houten balustrade. Het muurwerk is witgepleisterd en wordt aan de bovenzijde afgesloten door een omgaande kroonlijst op consoles.
De symmetrisch voorgevel (O) telt vijf vensterassen. De centrale as heeft een omlijste paneeldeur met bovenlicht. Boven de kroonlijst bevindt zich een rechthoekige dakkapel. De overige assen hebben verdiepte zesruits schuifvensters met hardstenen onderdorpels. De centrale ingang heeft een hardstenen stoep van drie treden. De linkerzijgevel (Z) heeft op de parterre een houten serre met verticale vierruits ramen en een dubbele tuindeur (T-profiel). De verdieping heeft twee dubbele terrasdeuren (T-profiel) die toegang geven tot het plat boven de serre. De rechterzijgevel is blind en sluit aan op de aangrenzende dienstwoning. De achtergevel heeft in het midden een deur met bovenlicht en alleen op de verdieping nog twee oorpronkelijke zesruitsvensters. Centraal boven de kroonlijst bevindt zich een rechthoekige dakkapel.
Waardering
Het in sobere neo-classicistische trant uitgevoerd, 19de-eeuwse polderhuis is van algemeen belang wegens architectuur- en cultuurhistorische waarde als historisch-functioneel hoofdonderdeel van het polderhuiscomplex van de Beemsterpolder.

Former POLDER HOUSE, situated at the head (S) of the complex and equipped with a roof terrace from where one could obtain an overview of the polder mills (disappeared by 1890). The polder house, executed in a sober neo-classical style, is a cubic volume under a hipped roof that by its height and white colour occupies a striking position on the north-east edge of the Beemster Polder.
Description
Polder house built on a rectangular ground plan consisting of two storeys under a flattened hipped roof with black Spanish tiles. The flattened section of the hipped roof functions as a roof terrace with surrounding wooden balustrade. The masonry is whitewashed and is finished at the top by a surrounding cornice on consoles.
The symmetrical front gable (E) has five window axes. The central axis has a framed panelled door with fanlight. Above the cornice is a rectangular roof dormer. The remaining axes have recessed six-pane sash windows with hardstone sills. The central entrance has a hardstone step of three treads. The left side gable (S) has on the ground floor a wooden conservatory with vertical four-pane windows and a double garden door (T-profile). The first floor has two double terrace doors (T-profile) which give access to the roof space above the conservatory. The right side gable is blind and adjoins the adjacent service dwelling. The rear gable has a door with fanlight in the middle and only on the first floor still two original six-pane windows. Centrally above the cornice is a rectangular roof dormer.
Valuation
The polder house, executed in a sober neo-classical style, dating from the 19th century, is of general importance due to its architectural and cultural historical value as a historically-functional main component of the polder house complex of the Beemster Polder.
