Inleiding
De 19de-eeuwse houten SCHUUR bij het polderhuis is het meest noordelijke onderdeel van het polderhuiscomplex en heeft de noklijn haaks op de noklijnen van de aangrenzende dienstwoning en het polderhuis van de Beemsterpolder. De noklijn staat daarmee haaks op de dijk. Het houtskelet en de vloer bevatten onderdelen die van poldermolens afkomstig zijn. De schuur werd gebruikt als reparatiewerkplaats voor onderdelen van poldermolens.
Omschrijving
Houten SCHUUR, haaks aansluitend op de dienstwoning van het polderhuiscomplex, gebouwd op rechthoekig grondplan en bestaande uit één bouwlaag onder zadeldak met zwarte pan. De schuur heeft een houtskelet met gerabatte buitenwanden. De geveltoppen hebben elk verticaal beschot, gladde windveren en een makelaar. De voorgevel heeft in het gerabatte deel twee zestienruits vensters, de geveltop heeft een driedelig (T-vormig) kozijn met centrale transportdeur (opgeklampt) en een flankerend twaalfruitsvenster. De linkerzijgevel heeft vier zestienruitsvensters en een paneeldeur met bovenlicht tussen het eerste en tweede venster vanaf de aansluiting met de dienstwoning. De rechterzijgevel heeft nog drie zestienruits vensters, waarvan twee aan de Beemsterzijde van de aanbouw. De achtergevel heeft in het gerabatte deel een zestienruitsvenster en een opgeklampte deur en in de geveltop een centraal geplaatste deur (opgeklampt).

De 19de-eeuwse houten schuur is van algemeen belang wegens architectuur- en cultuurhistorische waarde als historisch-functioneel onderdeel van het polderhuiscomplex van de Beemsterpolder.

Wooden BARN, at right angles adjoining the service dwelling of the polder house complex, built on a rectangular ground plan and consisting of a single storey under a gabled roof with black tiles. The barn has a timber frame with rabbeted external walls. The gable tops each have vertical boarding, plain wind bracing and a maker's mark. The front gable has two sixteen-pane windows in the rabbeted section, the gable top has a three-part (T-shaped) window frame with central transport door (clamped) and a flanking twelve-pane window. The left side gable has four sixteen-pane windows and a panelled door with fanlight between the first and second window from the junction with the service dwelling. The right side gable has three sixteen-pane windows, of which two are on the Beemster side of the extension. The rear gable has a sixteen-pane window and a clamped door in the rabbeted section and a centrally placed door (clamped) in the gable top.
