Inleiding
Voormalige DIENSTWONING bij het polderhuis van de Beemsterpolder, gesitueerd tussen het aangebouwde polderhuis ter linkerzijde en de aangebouwde schuur ter rechterzijde. Gezien de twee paneeldeuren aan de voorzijde is er in oorsprong mogelijk sprake van een dubbele dienstwoning. De, in ambachtelijk-traditionele bouwtrant uitgevoerde, 19de-eeuwse dienstwoning staat met de noklijn evenwijdig aan de dijk.
Omschrijving
Op langgerekt rechthoekig grondplan gebouwde dienstwoning, bestaande uit één bouwlaag onder zadeldak met zwarte pan. Het muurwerk is opgetrokken in rode baksteen.
De voorgevel telt negen vensterassen, waarvan zes assen zesruits schuifvensters bevatten. Twee assen hebben een paneeldeur met gedeeld bovenlicht en de meest rechtse as (nabij de schuur) heeft een breed driedelig kozijn met dubbele paneeldeur geflankeerd door een smal verticaal venster. De gevel wordt afgesloten door een hoofdgestel met tandlijst onder de kroonlijst. De beide zijgevels zijn blind. De merendeels gesloten achtergevel heeft vijf onregelmatig geplaatste vensters, merendeels van ongelijke vorm en grootte. De achtergevel heeft een eenvoudige gootlijst, het dakschild hierboven heeft een kleine kapel.
Waardering
De 19de-eeuwse dienstwoning is van algemeen belang wegens architectuur- en cultuurhistorische waarde als historisch-functioneel onderdeel van het polderhuiscomplex.

Former SERVICE DWELLING adjacent to the polder house of the Beemster Polder, situated between the adjoining polder house on the left side and the adjoining barn on the right side. Given the two panelled doors on the front, the original may have been a double service dwelling. The 19th-century service dwelling, executed in a craftsman-traditional building style, stands with its roof ridge parallel to the dike.
Description
Service dwelling built on an elongated rectangular ground plan, consisting of a single storey under a gabled roof with black tiles. The masonry is built of red brickwork.
The front gable has nine window axes, of which six axes contain six-pane sash windows. Two axes have a panelled door with divided fanlight and the rightmost axis (near the barn) has a broad three-part window frame with double panelled door flanked by a narrow vertical window. The gable is finished with a dentil band under the cornice. Both side gables are blind. The mostly solid rear gable has five irregularly placed windows, mostly of unequal form and size. The rear gable has a simple gutter line, the roof shield above it has a small chapel.
Valuation
The 19th-century service dwelling is of general importance due to its architectural and cultural historical value as a historically-functional component of the polder house complex.
