Omschrijving
Omschrijving onderdeel 5: (Herenweg 139; op de bijbehorende kaart aangegeven met nr.5) PORTIERSWONING. Aan het begin van de oprijlaan gelegen rood bakstenen pand gebouwd op rechthoekige grondslag, onder een met zwarte Hollandse pannen gedekt schilddak. Regelmatig ingedeelde gevels met meerruits schuifvensters voorzien van luiken. Een foto van ca.1920 laat zien dat het wit gepleisterd is geweest. Huis en erf worden aangegeven op de kadastrale minuut van 1819, waarschijnlijk is de woning als arbeidershuisje gebouwd ten tijde van de aanleg van de nieuwe toegangsweg, dat zou dan ca. 1780 zijn. Restauratie 1960.

Description
Description of component 5: (Herenweg 139; indicated on the accompanying map with no. 5) PORTER'S LODGE. A red brick building located at the beginning of the approach road, built on a rectangular ground plan, under a hipped roof covered with black Dutch tiles. Regularly divided facades with multi-pane sash windows fitted with shutters. A photograph from c.1920 shows that it was whitewashed. House and grounds are indicated on the cadastral map of 1819, the house was probably built as a worker's dwelling at the time of the construction of the new access road, which would then be c. 1780. Restoration 1960.
