Omschrijving
Het SCHUURTJE, dat zich aan de achterkant van de boerderij bevindt met de nok evenwijdig hiermee is geplaatst, bezit een rechthoekige plattegrond en is voorzien van een zadeldak. Het dak is gedekt met gesmoorde verbeterde Hollandse pan. De gevels zijn ten dele in steen (wild verband) en hout (gepotdekseld) opgetrokken. De VOORGEVEL is haaks gesitueerd op de achtergevel van de boerderij. De gevel bevat één opgeklampte deur. De LINKER EN RECHTER ZIJGEVEL zijn nagenoeg aan elkaar gelijk en bevatten een laag geplaatst getoogd (3x2)-ruits gietijzeren stalraampje, geklemd tussen een gecementeerde lekdorpel en rollaag. De ACHTERGEVEL is op een beluikt venster na blind uitgevoerd.
Waardering
- Van architectuurhistorische waarde als functioneel onderdeel van de boerderij waarbij het belang grotendeels is gelegen in zijn aanwezigheid in het totaal.
- Van stedenbouwkundige waarde vanwege de relatie met de boerderij en overige bijgebouwen. Het ensemble heeft een bijzondere betekenis voor het aanzien van dit noordelijke gedeelte van het dorp Wapenveld.
- Van cultuurhistorische waarde vanwege de oorsprong van de boerderij die tot in de 17de eeuw teruggaat en als pachtboerderij deel uitmaakte van het grondgebied van het verdwenen klooster Hulsbergen. Description
The SHED, located at the rear of the farmhouse with its ridge set parallel to it, has a rectangular ground plan and is provided with a gabled roof. The roof is covered with half-hipped improved Dutch tiles. The facades are partly built in stone (wild bond) and wood (rendered). The FRONT FACADE is situated at right angles to the rear facade of the farmhouse. The facade contains one clamped door. The LEFT AND RIGHT SIDE FACADES are nearly identical to each other and contain a low-placed arched (3x2)-pane cast-iron stable window, clamped between a cemented drip-moulding and roll moulding. The REAR FACADE is executed blind except for a shuttered window.
Valuation
- Of architectural historical value as a functional component of the farmhouse, whereby the significance lies largely in its presence as part of the whole.
- Of urban planning value because of the relationship with the farmhouse and other outbuildings. The ensemble has a special significance for the appearance of this northern part of the village of Wapenveld.
