Omschrijving
Houten WOONHUIS (voormalige biljartkamer) op rechthoekig grondplan, bestaande uit één bouwlaag onder zadeldak met zwarte en enkele rode kruispannen. Het houten pand heeft aan voor- en achterzijde een aanbouw onder lessenaardak. Aan de achter fungeert dit als bergruimte, aan de voorzijde oorspronkelijk als veranda.
Het gebouw heeft een houtskelet opgevuld met horizontale houten delen. Het zadeldak heeft langs alle zijden een overstek, aan de korte zijden voorzien van geschulpte windveren waarvan het motief in de gootlijsten langs de zijgevels wordt voortgezet. Aan de voorzijde (oost) hebben de windveren tevens aan de bovenzijde een geschulpte houten lijst.
De rechter zijgevel (noord) wordt doorbroken door twee zesruitsramen. De uitbouw aan de voorzijde (oost) wordt afgedekt door een lessenaardak met rode kruispannen en een omlopende geschulpte lijst. Ook de verticale houten stijlen waarop het dak rust zijn met houtsnijwerk gedecoreerd. De openingen tussen de stijlen zijn in 1952 met deuren en ramen dichtgezet.
De geveltop aan de oostzijde, opgetrokken uit verticale houten delen die aan de onderzijde in een punt uitlopen, heeft in het midden een zeshoekig sierraam van houtsnijwerk.
De linker zijgevel van het pand (zuid) heeft een paneeldeur met tweeruitsbovenlicht; links daarvan is een openslaand raam aangebracht en rechts een zesruitsraam. Tussen de deur en het bovenlicht bevindt zich een afdakje op schoren.
De berging aan de achterzijde, waarvan het dak belegd is met zwarte tuiles-du-nord, heeft in de zuidgevel een moderne deur met raam aan weerszijden.
De achterzijde van de berging (west) is voorzien van een modern (niet beschermd) toiletraampje. De westelijke geveltop van het woonhuis die boven de berging uitsteekt is gelijkvormig aan die aan de voorzijde (oost), alleen ontbreekt het houtsnijwerk in het zeshoekige raam.
De nok van het dak wordt door een schoorsteen doorbroken.
Waardering
De voormalige biljartkamer is van algemeen belang uit cultuur- en architectuurhistorisch oogpunt als hoofdonderdeel van het beschreven complex Parkweg 18A, in casu als voorbeeld van een laat 19de-eeuws bijgebouw in een schilderachtig rustieke bouwstijl met chalet-invloeden.

Description
Wooden HOUSE (former billiard room) on a rectangular ground plan, consisting of one storey under a gabled roof with black and some red pantiles. The wooden building has on front and rear sides an extension under a lean-to roof. At the rear it functions as a storage space, at the front originally as a veranda.
The building has a timber frame structure filled with horizontal wooden elements. The gabled roof has an overhang on all sides, on the short sides provided with carved wind braces whose motif is continued in the gutter lines along the side facades. On the front side (east) the wind braces also have on the upper side a carved wooden moulding.
The right side facade (north) is pierced by two six-paned windows. The extension at the front (east) is covered by a lean-to roof with red pantiles and a surrounding carved moulding. The vertical wooden posts on which the roof rests are also decorated with woodcarving. The openings between the posts were closed in 1952 with doors and windows.
The gable at the east side, constructed of vertical wooden elements that taper to a point at the bottom, has in the centre a hexagonal decorative window of woodcarving.
The left side facade of the building (south) has a panelled door with two-paned fanlight; to its left a folding window has been installed and to the right a six-paned window. Between the door and the fanlight there is a small roof on brackets.
The storage room at the rear, whose roof is covered with black tuiles-du-nord, has in the south facade a modern door with window on either side.
The rear of the storage room (west) is provided with a modern (unprotected) toilet window. The western gable of the house which projects above the storage room is identical to that at the front (east), only the woodcarving in the hexagonal window is absent.
The roof ridge is pierced by a chimney stack.
Valuation
The former billiard room is of general importance from a cultural- and architectural-historical perspective as the principal component of the described complex Parkweg 18A, in this case as an example of a late 19th-century outbuilding in a picturesque rustic building style with chalet influences.
