In 1836 gebouwde ORANGERIE, onderdeel van de historische buitenplaats Vaart en Duin.
Omschrijving
De op een rechthoekige plattegrond gebouwde orangerie is één bouwlaag hoog onder plat dak. De orangerie is opgetrokken in baksteen en crème gepleisterd. In de voorgevel (Z) bevinden zich een viertal achtruits dubbele openslaande houten deuren. Tussen deze deuren en op de hoeken van de voorgevel zijn in totaal vijf pilasters aangebracht. De zijgevels hebben ieder één dubbele openslaande houten deur, identiek aan die in de voorgevel. In de achtergevel bevinden zich geen deuren of ramen.
In de orangerie bevindt zich een gedenksteen met de inscriptie: "Gebouwd 1836, M.J. Warin Wed.we Hooft, Geboren 1748".
Waardering
De orangerie is als historisch-functioneel onderdeel van de historische buitenplaats Vaart en Duin van algemene belang en uit cultuurhistorisch en architectuurhistorisch oogpunt als voorbeeld van uit de eerste helft van de 19de eeuw daterende, in neo-classicistische bouwtrant opgetrokken, tuinarchitectuur.

Description
The orangery, built on a rectangular plan, is one storey high under a flat roof. The orangery is constructed in brick and cream plastered. In the front facade (S) there are four six-pane double-leaf hinged wooden doors. Between these doors and at the corners of the front facade, a total of five pilasters have been applied. The side facades each have one double-leaf hinged wooden door, identical to those in the front facade. In the rear facade there are no doors or windows.
In the orangery there is a commemorative stone with the inscription: "Built 1836, M.J. Warin Widow Hooft, Born 1748".
Valuation
The orangery is of general importance as a historically-functional component of the historic country estate Vaart en Duin and from a cultural and architectural-historical perspective as an example of garden architecture dating from the first half of the 19th century, built in neo-classical style.
