TUINMANSWONING, in 1861 gebouwd op de historische buitenplaats Vaart en Duin, in eclectische trant.
N.B. De aan de achterzijde aangebouwde bijkeuken uit 1962 valt buiten de bescherming.
Omschrijving
De op een rechthoekig grondplan gebouwde dienstwoning is één bouwlaag hoog onder zadeldak bekleed met rode Tuiles du Nord. Midden op het dak bevindt zich een klokje met windvaan. Langs de topgevels van het pand bevinden zich siergesneden houten daklijsten. Het pand is opgetrokken in baksteen en grijs gepleisterd met op de hoeken een blokbehandeling in het pleisterwerk.
De voorgevel (O) bezit een risalerend middengedeelte dat door de dakrand heen is doorgetrokken en wordt afgesloten door een ingestoken zadeldak. In dit risalerende middendeel ligt verdiept de entree met daarboven een houten draaivenster. Zowel de entree als het venster zijn voorzien van een in stucwerk uitgevoerde wenkbrauw, respectievelijk in spitsboogvorm (entree) en rechthoekige vorm (venster). De spitsboogvormige wenkbrauw is in het midden versierd met lofwerk. Ditzelfde gestucte lofwerk bevindt zich boven de deur. Ter weerszijden van deze middenrisaliet bevindt zich in de voorgevel een in tweeën gedeeld draaiend houten venster met roedenverdeling dat bovenlangs wordt afgesloten door een rechthoekige wenkbrauw van stucwerk. In de voorgevel bevindt zich een gedenksteen met de inscriptie: "M.S.A. Borski, 25 Juny 1861". De achter- en zijgevels van het pand bezitten verscheidene houten vensters, verschillend van type en formaat. Deze vensters hebben, met uitzondering van de zoldervensters in de zijgevels, geen gestucte wenkbrauw ter afsluiting.

Description
The dwelling, built on a rectangular ground plan, is one storey high under a gabled roof clad with red Tuiles du Nord. In the middle of the roof there is a small bell with weathervane. Along the gables of the building there are decoratively carved wooden drip mouldings. The building is constructed in brick and grey plastered with stone-dressed corners in the plasterwork.
The front facade (E) has a projecting central section that extends through the eaves and is terminated by a recessed gabled roof. In this projecting middle section, the entrance is recessed with a wooden hinged window above it. Both the entrance and the window are provided with a stucco-executed eyebrow, respectively in pointed-arch form (entrance) and rectangular form (window). The pointed-arch eyebrow is decorated in the middle with leafwork ornament. The same stucco leafwork is found above the door. On either side of this central projection there is in the front facade a two-part hinged wooden window with glazing bars that is terminated above by a rectangular stucco eyebrow.
