Inleiding
Het bij de buitenplaats Beukenhorst behorende TOEGANGSHEK (6) dateert uit het midden van de 19de eeuw. Het bevindt zich aan de Rijksstraatweg en is de tegenhanger van de hoofdentree aan de Zijdeweg, die toegang geeft tot de gebogen oprijlaan naar het landhuis.
Omschrijving
Een smeedijzeren toegangshek, bestaand uit een spijlen hekwerk, gehangen in geschoorde, eenvoudig hekpijlers, geflankeerd door zijstukken.

Het toegangshek is van algemeen algemeen belang vanwege cultuur- en architectuurhistorisch waarde
