Rijk gedecoreerd TOEGANGSHEK behorende bij het villacomplex Mariënhof bestaande uit geprofileerde gietijzeren pijlers met pijnappelbekroning en sierlijk gesmede zijvoluten en hekwerk met pijlpunten. Het hek staat op een brug over de wegsloot die de Midwouder Dorpsstraat scheidt van het terrein van Mariënhof. De eveneens onder de bescherming vallende brug heeft ingezwenkte muren in rode baksteen, afgedekt met platen hardsteen.
Waardering
Toegangshek met bijbehorende brug zijn van algemeen belang als historisch-functioneel onderdeel van het villacomplex "Mariënhof".

Description
Richly decorated ENTRANCE GATE belonging to the villa complex Mariënhof consisting of profiled cast-iron posts with pineapple finials and elegant forged side volutes and railings with arrow points. The gate stands on a bridge over the drainage ditch that separates the Midwouder Dorpsstraat from the grounds of Mariënhof. The likewise protected bridge has inward-curved walls in red brick, capped with hard stone slabs.
Valuation
Entrance gate with adjoining bridge are of general importance as a historical-functional component of the villa complex "Mariënhof".
