TOEGANGSHEK MET BRUG daterend uit het einde van de 19de eeuw en onderdeel van de buitenplaats Zeerust.
Omschrijving
Aan de Westvlietweg gelegen siersmeedijzeren inrijhek, bestaande uit een dubbel spijlenhek tussen met krullen bekroonde vaste hekdelen. Het hek stond oorsponkelijk op de gemetselde boogbrug, die toegang tot de Buitenplaats verleend.
Waardering
Het toegangshek met brug is van algemeen belang vanwege de cultuur- en architectuurhistorische waarden als historisch-functioneel onderdeel van de buitenplaats en de gaafheid in hoofdvorm, detaillering en materiaalgebruik. Voorts heeft het hek ensemblewaarden wegens de beeldbepalende ligging van het hek langs de Westvlietweg en de Vliet en uit de ruimtelijk-functionele samenhang met de overige complexonderdelen.

Description
An ornamental wrought-iron entrance gate located on the Westvlietweg, consisting of a double spindled gate between fixed gate sections crowned with scrolls. The gate originally stood on the mortared arch bridge, which provided access to the country estate.
