Omschrijving complexonderdeel 2
De IJSKELDER bestaat uit een ronde put met koepelgewelf die men via een portaal kan bereiken. De ingang bevindt zich aan de noordzijde. Het portaal heeft een klimmend tongewelf, zodat het in de kruin van het koepelgewelf uitkomt. Twee meter achter de voordeur is een tweede deuropening, waarachter nog een stukje gang ligt die tot de rand van de kelder loopt. De diameter van de put is drie meter en de hoogte 6,5 meter. Het geheel is met aarde overdekt.

De ijskelder is van architectuurhistorische waarde als voorbeeld van een zeldzaam bouwtype, alsmede van ensemble waarde als onderdeel van de voormalige buitenplaats Wulperhorst.

The ICE CELLAR consists of a round shaft with a barrel vault which is accessed via a portal. The entrance is on the north side. The portal has a rising barrel vault, so that it emerges in the crown of the barrel vault. Two metres behind the front door is a second door opening, behind which a stretch of corridor remains that extends to the edge of the cellar. The diameter of the shaft is three metres and the height 6.5 metres. The whole is covered with earth.
Evaluation of complex component 2
The ice cellar is of architectural-historical value as an example of a rare building type, and also of ensemble value as a component of the former country estate Wulperhorst.
