Omschrijving complexonderdeel 2
Een aan rechterzijde van het landhuis Pavia geplaatste DUIVENTOREN ANNEX KIPPENVERBLIJF op achthoekige plattegrond van twee bouwlagen. De gevels zijn opgebouwd uit verticaal aangebrachte houten planken. Dakschilden zijn met zink bedekt.
In de eerste bouwlaag zijn de acht houten gevelzijden identiek van opbouw, met uitzondering van de zijde waarin een deur is geplaatst. De houten planken zijn voorzien van luchtsleuven en -gaten, die zo zijn aangebracht dat ze een decoratief karakter hebben. Op ongeveer één meter hoogte is een omgaande geprofileerde lijst aangebracht. Op elke hoek bevindt zich een stijl, waarop onder het dakoverstek een gietijzeren console is gezet. Op het dak van het kippenverblijf is een kleiner achthoekig bouwvolume gezet dienend als onderkomen voor duiven. De lantaarn is wat de opbouw en gevelbehandeling identiek aan de eerste bouwlaag. Vier gevelzijden zijn bovendien voorzien van twee, boven elkaar geplaatste zitstokken op gesneden consoles. Ook dit bouwvolume wordt door een dakje met overstek afgesloten.
Waardering complexonderdeel 2
De duiventoren annex kippenverblijf is van architectuurhistorische waarde als voorbeeld van een bijzonder bouwtype alsmede van ensemble waarde als onderdeel van de voormalige buitenplaats Pavia.

Description of complex component 2
A DOVECOTE ANNEX CHICKEN HOUSE positioned on the right side of the country house Pavia on an octagonal ground plan of two storeys. The facades are constructed of vertically affixed wooden planks. Roof tiles are covered with zinc.
In the first storey the eight wooden facade sides are identical in construction, with the exception of the side in which a door is positioned. The wooden planks are provided with air vents and holes, which are affixed so that they have a decorative character. At approximately one meter height a perimeter profiled moulding is affixed. On each corner there is a post, on which under the roof overhang a cast iron console is set. On the roof of the chicken house a smaller octagonal building volume is placed serving as an accommodation for doves. The lantern is in terms of construction and facade treatment identical to the first storey. Four facade sides are moreover provided with two perches placed one above the other on carved consoles. This building volume is also closed off by a roof with overhang.

The dovecote annex chicken house is of architectural-historical value as an example of a remarkable building type and also of ensemble value as a component of the former country estate Pavia.
