HEKKEN, XVIIId; er zijn 4 hekken; een 5e hek is XIXc. Het toegangshek: twee bakstenen kruispijlers met bossingen en vierkante vaasbekroningen in mergel; de pijlers zijn aan de buitenzijde via korte hol-ingezwenkte muurtjes verbonden met lagere pijlers van hetzelfde type; hier ontbreken de bekroningen; geen hekvleugels; het hek staat aan het begin van de toegangsbrug. Aan de voet van de pijlers achtkantige schampstenen, die sikkelvormig in een punt toelopen. Twee identieke hekken: één als westelijke afsluiting van het voorterrein; dit hek leidt nu naar de tuin van een huis, dat niet tot het complexgebied behoort, en één bij de haakse bocht van de beukenlaan; beide hebben nieuwe houten hekvleugels en pijlers van nagenoeg hetzelfde type als die van het toegangshek. GATES, second half of the 18th century; there are 4 gates; a 5th gate is 19th century. The entrance gate: two brick cross piers with rustication and square urn finials in marl; the piers are connected on the outside via short concavely curving walls with lower piers of the same type; here the finials are absent; no gate wings; the gate stands at the beginning of the approach bridge. At the foot of the piers octagonal chamfered stones, which taper sickle-shaped to a point. Two identical gates: one as the western closure of the forecourt; this gate now leads to the garden of a house which does not belong to the complex area, and one at the right-angled bend of the beech-tree lane; both have new wooden gate wings and piers of roughly the same type as those of the entrance gate. The fourth gate is the entrance to the vegetable garden; square piers entirely in marl; knob-shaped finial; new wings in wood; the gate stands directly next to the driveway on the west side. The fifth gate, 19th century, is of iron and leads from the forecourt to the meadows to the west of the castle; it has thin round bars, which alternately end in arrowheads. The gate stands next to the moat.
