Omschrijving onderdeel 1:
KASTEEL, zeventiende-eeuws, op middeleeuwse grondslag, bestaande uit twee bakstenen (op een onderbouw van mergel en hardsteen) bouwdelen, te weten de min of meer vierkante woontoren en de qua plattegrond bijna even grote aanbouw-om-binnenplaats ten zuiden ervan, die aan de westzijde iets uitkraagt. De woontoren heeft een hoge, boven het maaiveld uitstekende kelderverdieping, waarop twee bouwlagen onder een hoog schilddak (grijze lei). De aanbouw bestaat uit drie vleugels op U-plattegrond, die een kleine binnenplaats omsluiten samen met de zuidgevel van de woontoren. De zuidvleugel heeft onder de verdieping een open loggia van drie bogen op hardstenen Toscaanse zuilen; er tegenover, onder een houten loggia, is de ingang naar de woontoren via een houten trap van acht treden met bijzondere houten leuning (negentiende eeuw). Naast deze trap een houten buitenkast met ronde panelen en deur met bossingen. Er zijn ramen met tussendorpels en meerruitsvensters in achttiende-eeuwse stijl, waarvan de omlijstingen van Naamse steen samengestelde sluitstenen hebben of getoogd zijn. In de noordoosthoek van de binnenplaats een vierkante traptoren met laag schilddak (leien), dat nauwelijks boven het dak van de toren uitsteekt. De aanbouw heeft een laag rondgaand schilddak met grijze pannen. Inwendig o.m. een kachelnis met L.XIV-stucwerk.

CASTLE, seventeenth century, on medieval foundations, consisting of two brick building sections (on a substructure of marl and hardstone), namely the more or less square residential tower and the extension with courtyard on the south side, which is of almost equal floor-plan dimensions and which protrudes slightly on the west side. The residential tower has a high basement storey protruding above ground level, on which two storeys stand under a high hipped roof (grey slate). The extension consists of three wings on a U-shaped floor plan, which enclose a small courtyard together with the south facade of the residential tower. The south wing has under the first floor an open loggia of three arches on hardstone Tuscan columns; opposite it, under a wooden loggia, is the entrance to the residential tower via a wooden staircase of eight steps with special wooden banister (nineteenth century). Next to this staircase a wooden external cupboard with round panels and door with bosses. There are windows with intermediate mullions and multi-light windows in eighteenth-century style, the surrounds of which have composite voussoirs of Namur stone or are arched. In the northeast corner of the courtyard a square stair tower with low hipped roof (slates), which barely projects above the roof of the tower. The extension has a low surrounding hipped roof with grey tiles. Internally among other things a niche with Louis XIV stucco work.
