Omschrijving
TOLHUIS, behorende tot Huis Maarsbergen, gelegen aan de centrale hoofdas en daterend uit het midden van de 19de eeuw. Tot 1925 als tolhuis in gebruik en sindsdien als woning. Eénbeukig pand op rechthoekige grondslag, opgetrokken in baksteen en voorzien van eclectische details. Het zadeldak is belegd met (nieuwe) blauwe pannen. Onderlangs loopt een geschilderde plint, halverwege een bakstenen profilering. In de voorgevel bevindt zich de plaats van de oude ingang: een gepleisterde bakstenen omlijsting van pilasters en kroonlijst. De openslaande deuren met zes ruiten en beneden houten panelen in de Maarsbergen-kleuren (rood-geel-groen) zijn 20ste-eeuws; oorspronkelijk was dit een deurpartij. Hierboven staat een rond venster onder natuurstenen lijsten. Beide zijgevels hebben twee zesruits schuifvensters en rechte muurankers. Aan de achtergevel bevindt zich een kleine uitbouw (de huidige ingang); rechts erboven een venster met roeden.

Description
TOLL HOUSE, belonging to Huis Maarsbergen, located on the central main axis and dating from the mid-19th century. In use as a toll house until 1925 and thereafter as a dwelling. Single-aisle building on a rectangular ground plan, constructed in brick and provided with eclectic details. The gabled roof is covered with (new) blue tiles. A painted plinth runs along the base, with a brick profile halfway up. In the front facade is the location of the old entrance: a plastered brick frame of pilasters and cornice. The opening doors with six lights and wooden panels below in the Maarsbergen colours (red-yellow-green) are 20th-century; originally this was a door arrangement. Above this stands a round window under natural stone mouldings. Both side facades have two six-light sash windows and straight wall anchors. On the rear facade there is a small extension (the current entrance); to the right above it a window with glazing bars.
