Description

TWO adjoining BARNS, belonging to Huis Maarsbergen and situated next to the coach house with stalls (Maarnse Grindweg 34). Rectangular brick buildings with eclectic stylistic features. The southern barn dates from the mid-nineteenth century and was originally intended as an agricultural business space. In the front facade there are a three-part window with shutters and a raised central section under plastered cornices; above a round window under likewise cornices. The rear facade and right-hand side facade were extended in the twentieth century. On the gabled roof lie blue curved pantiles. The northern barn dates from the early twentieth century and previously served as a pig barn.
