Omschrijving
Het KOETSHUIS ligt aan de zuidoostzijde van het perceel, parallel aan de spoorlijn Arnhem-Utrecht. Het is op een nagenoeg rechthoekige plattegrond opgetrokken en telt één bouwlaag onder een zadeldak met steekkappen aan de achterzijde. Het pand is boven een bakstenen plint witgepleisterd met een band boven de vensters en bakstenen ontlastingsbogen boven vensters en deuren. Het dak is bedekt met rode tuile du Nord pannen. De voorgevel (noord) bevat twee inrijdeuren en een aantal vensters. Boven de linker deur is de gevel hoger opgetrokken ten behoeve van een dakkapel met een dubbele hooideur onder een steekkap.
De zij- en achtergevels bevatten diverse vensters en deuren. Rechts is in de topgevel een T-venster geplaatst. De topgevel is betimmerd met verticale houten delen. De overige vensters en deuren zijn van ondergeschikt belang. Aan de westgevel van het koetshuis is rond 1980 een uitbreiding gemaakt in dezelfde bouwstijl en met eenzelfde bouwvolume. Description
The COACH HOUSE is situated on the south-east side of the plot, parallel to the Arnhem-Utrecht railway line. It is constructed on a nearly rectangular floor plan and comprises one storey beneath a gabled roof with louvre-boards at the rear. The building is rendered in white above a brick plinth with a band above the windows and brick relieving arches above windows and doors. The roof is covered with red tuile du Nord tiles. The front facade (north) contains two carriage entrances and a number of windows. Above the left door the facade is built higher for the purpose of a roof dormer with a double hayloft door beneath a louvre-board.
The side and rear facades contain various windows and doors. On the right is a T-window placed in the gable end. The gable end is clad with vertical wooden sections. The remaining windows and doors are of subordinate importance. To the west facade of the coach house an extension was made around 1980 in the same architectural style and with the same building volume. This building component falls outside the protection.
