Inleiding
De eerst gebouwde dubbele ARBEIDERSWONING van het complex aan de Burg. Eschauzierstraat dateert waarschijnlijk van kort vóór 1909 en bevat dezelfde architectonische detaillering van deuren, vensters en dezelfde interne organisatie; echter de hoofdvorm is meer traditioneel. De dakkapel die centraal voorin het dakschild staat, is niet oorspronkelijk; het is niet bekend wanneer deze is aangebracht.
Omschrijving
De dubbele arbeiderswoning behorende bij het complex aan de Burg. Eschauzierstraat is gebouwd op een rechthoekige plattegrond evenwijdig aan de straat, onder een schilddak met een gemetselde schoorsteen op de nok. De gevelindeling is symmetrisch: uiterst links en uiterst rechts is een voordeur, daartussen vier ramen met in het midden een iets bredere tussenruimte. Centraal en laag in het dakschild een -vernieuwde- dakkapel onder afzaat, met twee H-vensters. Voor het overige heeft de woning de kenmerken als beschreven in de complexomschrijving.
Waardering
De dubbele woning van kort vóór 1909, behorende bij het complex aan de Burg. Eschauzierstraat te Terschelling-West, is van algemeen cultuurhistorisch en architectuurhistorisch belang:
- als essentieel en ruimtelijk functioneel hoofdonderdeel van het complex,

The first built semi-detached WORKERS' DWELLING of the complex at Burg. Eschauzierstraat probably dates from shortly before 1909 and contains the same architectural detailing of doors, windows and the same internal organisation; however the main form is more traditional. The roof dormer which stands centrally at the front of the roof panel is not original; it is not known when it was added.
Description
The semi-detached workers' dwelling belonging to the complex at Burg. Eschauzierstraat is built on a rectangular plan parallel to the street, under a hipped roof with a brick chimney on the ridge. The gable layout is symmetrical: at the far left and far right is a front door, between them four windows with a slightly wider space in the middle. Centrally and low in the roof panel a -renewed- roof dormer under a catslide roof, with two H-windows. Otherwise the dwelling has the characteristics as described in the complex description.
Valuation
The semi-detached dwelling from shortly before 1909, belonging to the complex at Burg. Eschauzierstraat in Terschelling-West, is of general cultural-historical and architectural-historical significance:
