Een evenwijdig langs de weg gelegen POMPHUIS naar ontwerp van Visser & Smit uit 1903 van de Doornse Waterleidingmaatschappij op rechthoekige plattegrond van één bouwlaag onder een met kruispannen gedekt zadeldak, met de nok haaks op de Woestduinlaan. Op de nok van het dak is een houten constructie onder zadeldakje gezet dat dient als ventilatie voor de eronder liggende ruimte.
De in baksteen uitgevoerde gevels zijn voorzien van speklagen ter hoogte van de onder- en bovendorpels van de vensters en worden met een uitkragende bloktandlijst afgesloten. De vensters zijn getoogd en zijn voornamelijk voorzien van een twaalfruitsindeling. In de top van de korte gevels bevindt zich een rozetvenster.
Tegen de oostgevel is in 1912 een uitbreiding in stijl neergezet ten behoeve van een nieuwe pomp. Deze uitbreiding heeft een plat dak gekregen en is twee vensterassen lang. Aan deze zijde bevond zich oorspronkelijk een schoorsteen die met de uitbreiding is afgebroken.
Waardering
Het pomphuisje is van archtectuurhistorische waarde als voorbeeld van een bouwtype met eenvoudige neorenaissance detaillering alsmede van ensemble waarde in relatie met de watertoren.

Description of complex component 2
A PUMP HOUSE running parallel to the road, to the design of Visser & Smit from 1903 for the Doornse Water Supply Company on a rectangular floor plan of one storey under a gabled roof covered with crossed pantiles, with the ridge at right angles to the Woestduinlaan. On the ridge of the roof is a wooden construction under a small gabled roof that serves as ventilation for the space beneath it.
The facades, executed in brick, are provided with banding at the level of the under- and overdorpels of the windows and are terminated with a projecting toothed band. The windows are arched and are mainly provided with a twelve-light division. In the top of the short facades is a rose window.
Against the east facade an extension in style was built in 1912 for the purpose of a new pump. This extension has a flat roof and is two window bays long. On this side there was originally a chimney which was demolished with the extension.
Valuation
The pump house is of architectural-historical value as an example of a building type with simple neo-Renaissance detailing as well as of ensemble value in relation to the water tower.
