Omschrijving
De VOLIERE (1922), ook wel aangeduid als hoenderhok, heeft een langwerpige plattegrond. Aan weerszijden van een centrale gang zijn vogelverblijven gegroepeerd. Het centrale betonnen gedeelte is overkapt met een inwaarts geknikt zadeldak met plaatijzeren nokkam en daklijsten. Rondom deze verblijven zijn, op een betonnen basement, ijzeren buitenverblijven opgetrokken, aan de kopse einden op ronde grondslag. De buitenverblijven zijn afgedekt met glazen platen. Ze zijn vergroot, de uitbreiding heeft een glazen afdekking.

Description
The AVIARY (1922), also referred to as a poultry house, has an elongated ground plan. On either side of a central corridor bird enclosures are grouped. The central concrete section is covered with an inward-sloping gabled roof with sheet-iron ridge and roof edges. Around these enclosures, on a concrete base, iron outdoor enclosures have been constructed, at the end sections on a circular base. The outdoor enclosures are covered with glass plates. They have been enlarged; the extension has a glass covering.
