Omschrijving
HOOFDGEBOUW (Vreedenhorst). Op de middenas van het terrein ligt een in oorsprong zeventiende-eeuws blokvormig witgepleisterd hoofdgebouw van het herenhofstede-type, dat in de loop van de eeuwen verschillende malen is verbouwd. Het huis is gebouwd op rechthoekige grondslag en bestaat uit twee bouwlagen onder een met Oud-Hollandse pannen gedekt afgeplat L-vormig schilddak en een tentdak met hoekschoorsteen. Tegen de achtergevel is recent een verdiepingloze aanbouw onder een schilddak en een glazen serre gebouwd, die voor de bescherming van ondergeschikt belang zijn. In de voorgevel de toegangsdeur met bovenlicht gevat in een pilasteromlijsting. Op de architraaf staat de naam 'Vreedenhorst'. Rechts van de deur een zijlicht (ca.1955) en de opkamer bestaande uit twee vijftienruits schuifvensters. Links twee vensterassen gevormd door een negenruits schuifvenster zowel op de begane grond als op de verdieping. Centraal in het dakschild een dakkapel onder een halfrond fronton. Identieke dakkapel in de linker gevel (noordoost). Tegen de zuidwest gevel van het hoofdgebouw staat een druivenkas uit ca. 1910. De op langwerpige grondslag gebouwde kas bestaat uit een stenen voet en een houten geraamte met glas. De twee druiven, waarvan één nog daterend uit het bouwjaar van de kas, zijn buiten geplant en groeien door een opening in het muurwerk in de kas. Oud muurwerk van kloostermoppen in de kelder, wellicht van middeleeuwse oorsprong.

Description
MAIN BUILDING (Vreedenhorst). On the central axis of the site lies an originally seventeenth-century block-shaped whitewashed main building of the manor-court type, which has undergone various alterations over the centuries. The house is built on a rectangular foundation and consists of two storeys under a hipped roof with Old Dutch tiles and a tent roof with corner chimney. Against the rear facade, a single-storey extension under a hipped roof and a glass conservatory have recently been built, which are of subsidiary importance for protection. In the front facade the entrance door with fanlight set in a pilaster frame. On the architrave stands the name 'Vreedenhorst'. To the right of the door a sidelight (c.1955) and the morning room consisting of two fifteen-pane sash windows. To the left two window bays formed by a nine-pane sash window both on the ground floor and on the upper storey. Centrally in the roof slope a dormer window under a semicircular pediment. Identical dormer window in the left gable (northeast). Against the southwest gable of the main building stands a grape house from c. 1910. Built on a longitudinal foundation, the house consists of a stone base and a wooden frame with glass. The two grapevines, one of which still dates from the building year of the house, are planted outside and grow through an opening in the masonry into the house. Old masonry of cloister bond in the cellar, possibly of medieval origin.
