Omschrijving
De pastorie is in rode baksteen opgetrokken over twee bouwlagen, met een éénlagige uitbouw, op een rechthoekige plattegrond onder een met leien gedekt schilddak met steekkap. In het dak zijn kleine dakapellen aangebracht onder zadeldakjes met overstekende wolfeinden en pironnen, gedekt met leien. Het pand is opgemetseld boven een uitgemetseld trasraam en in de voor- en zijgevels voorzien van waterlijstenen witgepleisterde speklagen, aanzet- en sluitstenen. Vensters met kruiskozijnen onder hanekammen geleden de gevels.
In de voorgevel (O, vier vensterassen) risaleert de tweede vensteras onder een steekkap met trapgevel. Onder de topgevel een gepleisterde lijst met aanzetblokken, in de topgevel twee tweeruits vensters onder rondboogjes.
Rechts van het risaliet de paneeldeur met bovenlicht onder een glazen luifel. De meest linkse vensteras is over één bouwlaag opgetrokken onder een balkon met een gemetselde balustrade.
De linker zijgevel (Z) bestaat links uit een deel over twee bouwlagen (oorspronkelijk één) en rechts een deel over één bouwlaag. In het éénlagige deel een ingangsrisaliet met glasdeur en bovenlicht en een groot samengesteld kozijn met een dubbele glasdeur. De risalerende tweelagige gevelpartij heeft op de verdieping twee spaarvel-den en een tweeruits venster. In de achtergevel (W) een dubbele deur, vensters en een klein aanbouwtje onder een lessenaardak. Midden in de rechter zijgevel (N) verticale traplichten met glas-in-lood.
In de pastorie zijn onder meer twee geslepen glasdeuren, een gestuct plafond, een houten trap en glas-in-lood bewaard gebleven.
Waardering
De pastorie is van cultuur-, architectuurhistorisch en stedebouwkundig belang:
- als exponent van de bouwexplosie van katholieke kerken en pastorieën na het herstel van de Bisschoppelijke hiërarchie in 1853, die vooral in Twente decennia lang merkbaar was

Description
The rectory is constructed in red brick over two storeys, with a single-storey extension, on a rectangular plan beneath a hipped roof covered with slate with a steeply pitched roof section. In the roof small roof dormers are incorporated beneath gabled roof sections with overhanging half-hipped ends and pironnes, covered with slate. The building is mortared above an articulated tuff frame and in the front and side facades provided with drip mouldings and white-plastered speckle courses, abutment and closing stones. Windows with cross windows beneath cock's comb ornaments articulate the facades.
In the front facade (E, four window axes) the second window axis risalits beneath a steeply pitched roof section with stepped gable. Beneath the apex gable a plastered moulding with abutment blocks, in the apex gable two two-pane windows beneath small round arches.
To the right of the risalit the panelled door with fanlight beneath a glass canopy. The leftmost window axis is constructed over one storey beneath a balcony with a mortared balustrade.
The left side facade (S) consists on the left of a section over two storeys (originally one) and on the right a section over one storey. In the single-storey section an entrance risalit with glass door and fanlight and a large composite window with a double glass door. The risaliting two-storey gable section has on the first floor two sparing fields and a two-pane window. In the rear facade (W) a double door, windows and a small extension beneath a lean-to roof. In the middle of the right side facade (N) vertical staircase lights with stained glass.
In the rectory, among other things, two cut glass doors, a stuccoed ceiling, a wooden staircase and stained glass have been preserved.

The rectory is of cultural, architectural-historical and urban planning importance:
