Eenvoudige voetgangersbrug, als verbinding tussen de woningen Kanaalweg Westzijde 2,4,6 op de vestingwal en de kanaaldijk, vermoedelijk uit het eind van de negentiende eeuw.
Steunend op drie stalen portalen met twee X-vormige stavenpatronen boven elkaar; opgebouwd uit stalen profielen met houten loopdek en stalen leuningen.

Voetgangersbrug, van typologische waarde en van belang als functioneel onderdeel bij de woningen.
