Omschrijving
De twee DIENSTWONINGEN aan de Marktstraat hebben twee lagen met een plat dak. Op de hoeken is het gevelmetselwerk tot bovendaks doorgezet in de vorm van pylonen. De rustiek bewerkte hardsteen, die het Huis van Bewaring zo sterk bepaalt, duikt hier in de gevel op enkele plaatsen op. Zo is met subtiele middelen het verband tussen de samenstellende delen van het gehele complex aangeduid.

The two SERVANT'S HOUSES on the Marktstraat have two storeys with a flat roof. At the corners the brickwork of the facade extends above the roof in the form of pylons. The rustically worked hard stone, which so strongly characterizes the House of Detention, appears here in the facade in several places.
