Inleiding
Geprefabriceerd houten HERENHUIS de "Kroonenhof", in 1923 in Chaletstijl gebouwd voor de familie Moltzer door constructeur Christoph und Unmack, Niesky O/L uit Silezië. De fraai uitgewerkte details, zowel aan het exterieur als in het zeer gave interieur, kenmerken de zorg waarmee dit huis is ontworpen en gebouwd. Bij onderhoudsbeurt in 1992 is het pand voorzien van nieuwe dakbedekking en goten.
Omschrijving
Op een plint van rode baksteen zijn twee bouwlagen vanaf een vierkante plattegrond opgetrokken in donkerbruin geschilderde horizontale houten delen, die door middel van zwaluwstaarten met elkaar verbonden zijn. Het zadeldak met twee grote steekkappen is gedekte met rode Hollandse pannen. De verdieping kraagt over ten opzichte van de eerste bouwlaag. In de gevels op de begane grond en verdieping samengestelde zesruits vensters en in de beschoten topgevels een dubbel vierruits venster met wit geschilderde kozijnen. De vensters zijn behangen met witte luiken met donkergroene randen. Met uitzondering van de westgevel zijn de gevels voorzien van houten bloembakken. Aan de oost- en zuidkant van het huis staan op het aangrenzende terras dezelfde bloembakken. De ingang van het huis bevindt zich in de noordgevel aan de oprijlaan in een rechthoekige uitbouw van één laag. Op de uitbouw bevindt zich een balkon, waarop een deur uitkomt. De deur en grote vensters zorgen voor lichttoetreding in de achter de entree gelegen hal. De meer gesloten gevel op de begane grond wordt ingedeeld door kleine vensters. In de westgevel van het huis zijn de keuken linksonder en de badkamer rechtsboven te herkennen aan de hoog geplaatste kleine vensters. Aan de zuidkant op de begane grond twee dubbele terrasdeuren, geplaatst tussen vensters, en daarboven drie balkondeuren met bovenlicht. De gevel aan de straatkant (O) wordt op de begane grond in beslag genomen door twee erkers en op de verdieping door drie vensters. Hout bepaalt ook het karakter van het gave interieur met onder meer betimmeringen, ingebouwde kasten en trapleuningen.

Prefabricated wooden MANOR HOUSE the "Kroonenhof", built in 1923 in Chalet style for the Moltzer family by constructor Christoph und Unmack, Niesky O/L from Silesia. Description
On a plinth of red brick two storeys rise from a square ground plan in dark brown painted horizontal wooden sections, which are connected to each other by means of dovetails. The gabled roof with two large roof dormers is covered with red Dutch tiles. The upper floor projects over the first storey. In the facades on the ground floor and upper floor composite six-pane windows and in the rendered apex gables a double four-pane window with white painted frames. The windows are fitted with white shutters with dark green edges. With the exception of the west facade the facades are fitted with wooden flower boxes. On the east and south side of the house on the adjacent terrace are the same flower boxes. The entrance to the house is located in the north facade facing the drive in a rectangular single-storey extension. On the extension is a balcony, onto which a door opens. The door and large windows provide light access to the hall behind the entrance. The more enclosed facade on the ground floor is divided by small windows. In the west facade of the house the kitchen can be recognized on the lower left and the bathroom on the upper right by their high-placed small windows. On the south side on the ground floor two double terrace doors, placed between windows, and above them three balcony doors with fanlight. The facade facing the street (E) is occupied on the ground floor by two bay windows and on the upper floor by three windows. Wood also characterizes the well-preserved interior with, amongst others, wall panelling, built-in cupboards and stair railings.
