Opgericht ter herinnering aan het werk dat Petzold op Twickel heeft verricht 'Die landschafts-Gartenkunst ist ein Malen in der Natur Das Werkzeug des Schaffens ist der Spaten Dasjenige des Erhaltens und Fortbildung die Axt Sie ist der eiserne Zeichenstift des Landschaftgartners'. Geplaatst door baron R.F. van Heeckeren van Wassenaer langs het wandelpad door het Langenhorst.
