Omschrijving onderdeel 50:
EIKELSCHUUR behorende tot de buitenplaats Twickel.
In het park een houten palissaden schuur gebouwd op rechthoekige grondslag onder een met Oud-Hollandse pannen gedekt overstekend schilddak. Onder de nokvorsten van de hoekkepers is mos aangebracht. Centraal in de noord- en zuidzijde dubbele inrijdeuren, waarvan de inrijddeur aan de zuidkant onder steekkap. Bouwjaar eind 19de eeuw in Petzoldtijd.

EIKELSCHUUR van algemeen belang - als voorbeeld van landelijke bouwkunst; - vanwege de ensemblewaarde in samenhang met de tuin rond het kasteel; - vanwege de regionale zeldzaamheid; - vanwege de hoge mate van gaafheid.

ACORN SHED belonging to the country house Twickel.
In the park a wooden palisade shed built on a rectangular ground plan under a hipped roof covered with Old Dutch tiles with overhanging eaves. Moss has been placed under the roof ridges of the corner rafters. Central on the north and south sides double cart doors, of which the cart door on the south side is under a mansard roof. Built in the late 19th century during the Petzoldt period.
