Omschrijving onderdeel 41:
TUINBANK ROTSTUIN behorende tot de buitenplaats Twickel. Gebogen bank van Obernkirchner zandsteen, ontworpen en vervaardigd door de firma H.H. Beltman uit Deventer; geschenk van de pachters en personeelsleden ter gelegenheid van het in 1922 gesloten huwelijk van de baron R.F. van Heeckeren van Wassenaer en gravin M.A.M.A. van Aldenburg Bentinck. De bank is versierd met gebeeldhouwde griffioenen (gevleugelde leeuwen), die dienen als armleuningen. In het midden rust het zitgedeelte op geprofileerde consoles en de rugleuning is gedecoreerd met opgelegd lijstwerk. De rugleuning is bekroond met een kuif waarin de wapenschilden van Van Aldenburg Bentinck en Van Heeckeren in reliëf zijn afgebeeld; deze middenpartij wordt geflankeerd door vleugelstukken met voluten en bekroond door een geprofileerde sierbol.

GARDEN BENCH ROCK GARDEN belonging to the country house Twickel. Curved bench of Obernkirchner sandstone, designed and made by the firm H.H. Beltman from Deventer; gift from the tenants and staff members on the occasion of the marriage in 1922 of Baron R.F. van Heeckeren van Wassenaer and Countess M.A.M.A. van Aldenburg Bentinck. The bench is decorated with carved griffins (winged lions), which serve as armrests. In the middle the seating rests on profiled consoles and the backrest is decorated with applied moulding. The backrest is crowned with a crest in which the coats of arms of Van Aldenburg Bentinck and Van Heeckeren are depicted in relief; this central section is flanked by wing sections with volutes and crowned by a profiled ornamental sphere.
