Omschrijving onderdeel 42:
TUINBEELDEN ROTSTUIN behorende tot de buitenplaats Twickel. In de rotstuin staan twee 18de- of 19de-eeuws loden beeldjes; oorspronkelijk vormde dit ornament het bovenstuk van een thans verdwenen fontein (in de oranjerietuin). Het ene beeld bestaat uit twee putti met druiventros en schelp staande op een samengesteld voetstuk; cirkelvormige voetplaat van hardsteen waaronder een hoge zuilvormige sokkel van Frans kalksteen en een dekplaat van Bentheimer zandsteen. Het andere beeldje van twee putti met druiventros en drinkbeker aan de voeten van de hoorn des overvloed is geplaatst op een vierkant voetstuk met afgeschuinde hoeken (die niet doorlopen in de dekplaat) van Bentheimer zandsteen.

Description of component 42:
GARDEN SCULPTURES ROCK GARDEN belonging to the country house Twickel. In the rock garden stand two 18th- or 19th-century lead figurines; originally this ornament formed the top of a now-vanished fountain (in the orangery garden). One sculpture consists of two putti with bunch of grapes and shell standing on a composite plinth; circular stone base of hard stone beneath which a tall columnar plinth of French limestone and a cap of Bentheimer sandstone. The other figurine of two putti with bunch of grapes and drinking cup at the feet of the cornucopia is placed on a square plinth with bevelled corners (which do not continue in the cap) of Bentheimer sandstone.
