Inleiding
De FIETSENSTALLING hoort bij het schoolcomplex van de Rijks H.B.S "Simon Vestdijk", gebouwd in 1926 te Harlingen naar ontwerp van Rijksbouwmeester Joseph Crouwel jr. uit Amsterdam. Het bouwwerk is oost-west gericht, parallel aan de Stationsweg gelegen tussen hoofdgebouw en conciërgewoning.
Omschrijving
De fietsenstalling is rechthoekig van vorm en wordt gedekt door een zadeldak met rode Hollandse pannen en een houten onderstek. Het dak ligt op twee rijen ijzeren pilaren met betonnen sokkels, die aan de bovenzijde twee lange balken ondersteunen. Deze lopen parallel over de lengte van het dak van de stalling.

The BICYCLE SHED is part of the school complex of the State H.B.S "Simon Vestdijk", built in 1926 in Harlingen to the design of State Architect Joseph Crouwel jr. from Amsterdam.
