Stangenberg in 1915.

Hartkamp.

The revolving part is set in a temple-like frame consisting of a base sill with projecting corners on which marble columns with Ionic capital bearing the superstructure. This projecting superstructure is profiled and decorated with egg-and-dart moulding. Between the columns are niches in which winged and kneeling angels. The altar table has the form of a tomb. The oak pulpit from ca. 1750 is articulated and consists of a round base with an upward-tapering stem. Around the stem four projecting S-shaped volutes bearing the symbols of the 4 evangelists. The white-painted wooden communion rail from the first quarter of the 18th century in Louis XIV style has profiled base and top mouldings with projecting blocks on which pilasters with moulding. Between the pilasters openwork panels with the following representations: centre: Lamb of God with cross banner on book with 7 seals; right: table with shewbread; left: Ark of the Covenant. A two-manual mechanical organ with independent pedal, made by F.A. Stangenberg in 1915. In 1947, during restoration works, three registers were modified by the firm Sanders from Utrecht. These three modified registers are not of monumental value from the point of view of heritage conservation.

Valuation

Old Catholic Church with associated railings as the main component of the ecclesiastical complex of general importance due to architectural-historical value as well as typological and urban planning value. Of very great cultural-historical value are the historical components of the interior.

Also of cultural-historical importance is the fact that the church is a continuation of an old chapel. Also of importance in the oeuvre of J.W.F. Hartkamp.
