PASTORIE, gebouwd rond 1850 bij de voorganger van de huidige St. Martinuskerk in sobere neoclassicistische trant.
Omschrijving
De pastorie is een rechthoekig volume in rode baksteen en heeft twee bouwlagen onder omlopend schilddak met de noklijn evenwijdig aan de straat. Het schilddak heeft op beide nokpunten een schoorsteen en is bedekt met zwarte Hollandse pan. Het muurwerk heeft een gepleisterde cordonlijst onder de lekdorpels van de verdiepingvensters. De pastorie heeft een lijstgevel ter breedte van vijf vensterassen. De middelse as heeft op de parterre een omlijste hoofdingang (onder meer kroonlijst op consoles) met dubbele paneeldeur en bovenlicht. De overige assen hebben zesruitsschuifvensters. De lekdorpels van de verdieping zijn met een gepleisterde cordonlijst verbonden. De achterzijde is vergelijkbaar met de voorzijde. De centrale ingang is daar echter eenvoudig van vorm. De rechterzijde (N) bevat een zesruitsschuifvenster op de verdieping. De linkerzijde grenst aan de sacristie.
Het interieur bevat op de parterre rechts (N) van de centrale gang twee kamers met stucplafonds en marmeren schoorsteenmantels.
Waardering
De pastorie is van algemeen belang wegens architectuur- en cultuurhistorische waarde en als historisch-functioneel onderdeel van het beschreven kerkelijke complex van de St. Martinus.

Description
The parsonage is a rectangular volume in red brick and has two storeys under a hipped roof with the ridge line parallel to the street. The hipped roof has a chimney at both ridge points and is covered with black Dutch tile. The masonry has a plastered cornice under the drip mouldings of the first-floor windows. The parsonage has a cornice-topped facade the width of five window bays. The central bay has on the ground floor a framed main entrance (including cornice on consoles) with double panel door and fanlight. The remaining bays have six-light sash windows. The drip mouldings of the first floor are connected with a plastered cornice. The rear elevation is comparable to the front elevation. The central entrance there is, however, simple in form. The right side (N) contains a six-light sash window on the first floor. The left side is adjacent to the sacristy.
The interior contains on the ground floor to the right (N) of the central corridor two rooms with stucco ceilings and marble fireplace mantels.
Valuation
The parsonage is of general importance due to its architectural and cultural-historical value and as a historical-functional component of the described ecclesiastical complex of St. Martinus.
