Inleiding
De dwarsgeplaatste BIJSCHUUR is in het eerste kwart van de 20e eeuw gebouwd als onderdeel van het boerderijcomplex met stookhok uit het derde kwart van de 19e eeuw. De bijschuur bevindt zich aan de oostelijke zijde achter de boerderij en is hiermee verbonden sinds de verbouwing in 1920.
Omschrijving
Bijschuur op rechthoekige plattegrond onder schilddak, gedekt met riet en bekroond met uilebord van het Friese Wouden-type. De schuur is opgetrokken uit rode strengpersstenen op een klinker trasraam. De gevels worden ingedeeld door getoogde stalramen onder strekken; in de noordgevel zijn vijf drieruitslichten; in de achtergevel vijf negenruitsvensters. In de westgevel een houten deur met vensters aan weerszijden.
Waardering
De bijschuur rond 1900 achter de boerderij in Opeinde gerealiseerd, is van cultuurhistorische en architectonische waarde:
- als essentieel onderdeel van het visueel zeer gave complex,
- vanwege de esthetische kwaliteit van het eenvoudige maar verzorgde ontwerp,
- vanwege de redelijke mate van architectonische gaafheid van het exterieur van deze in de trant van de boerderij gebouwde bijschuur,

The transversely placed OUTBUILDING was built in the first quarter of the 20th century as part of the farmhouse complex with heating house from the third quarter of the 19th century. The outbuilding is located on the eastern side behind the farmhouse and has been connected to it since the renovation in 1920.
Description
Outbuilding on rectangular ground plan under a hipped roof, covered with thatch and crowned with an owl board of the Frisian Wouden type. The barn is constructed from red pressed bricks on a clinker mortar bed. The facades are divided by arched stable windows under lintels; in the north facade are five three-pane lights; in the rear facade five nine-pane windows. In the western facade a wooden door with windows on either side.
Valuation
The outbuilding, realized around 1900 behind the farmhouse in Opeinde, is of cultural-historical and architectural value:
- as an essential component of the visually very intact complex,
- because of the aesthetic quality of the simple but carefully designed scheme,
- because of the reasonable degree of architectural integrity of the exterior of this outbuilding built in the manner of the farmhouse,
- because of the spatial-functional relationship with the farmhouse.
