Omschrijving
Vrijstaande middenstandswoning in overgangsstijl met invloeden van de chaletstijl. De woning werd gebouwd voor de rentenier L. van den Bout, volgens gedenksteentje in de portiek in 1909.
De schuin op de weg georiënteerde kopgevel van de woning heeft een lage uitbouw aan de linker zijgevel. De gevels zijn opgetrokken uit rode baksteen in kruisverband; de voorgevel is gedecoreerd met banden en bogen in oranje baksteen, gecombineerd met gepleisterde boogblokjes en geglazuurde, groene plint- en dorpelstenen en op de begane grond een dito raamdorpellijst. De middenpartij van de voorgevel is uitgevoerd als risaliet waarin de entreenis is opgenomen, die deels in groen geglazuurde baksteen is uitgevoerd. Boven de entree bevindt zich een balkon met rijk, uitbuikend Jugendstil-trant ijzeren hekwerk, op forse, strakke consoles.
Voor de entree een gemetseld bordestrapje. Houten, op de begane grond getoogde, kozijnen met schuiframen en sobere, glas-in-lood bovenlichten; in de voorgevel op de begane grond tot drielichten gekoppeld. Aan het balkon bevinden zich vleugeldeuren met bovenlicht. De rechter zijgevel en de achtergevel zijn ondermeer voorzien van enkele nieuwe vensters of deuren.
De woning is uitgevoerd met een zadeldak, als aankapping over de uitbouw doorlopend, voorzien van overstekken met strakke windveren en gedekt met gesmoorde tuile du nord. Het overstek is aan de voorgevel voorzien van een gebogen en in vertikale deeltjes uitgevoerde topbetimmering met stokmakelaar.
In het interieur zijn verschillende originele onderdelen aanwezig, zoals ondermeer de plafonds in voor- en achterkamer en hal; schuifdeuren met glas-in-lood en schuifluiken voor de vensters.
Links achter in de tuin bevindt zich een bakstenen schuurtje met zadeldak gedekt met gesmoorde sterrenberger pannen; halfronde houten raampjes en uitgezaagde windveer.

Detached middle-class dwelling in transitional style with influences of chalet style. The dwelling was built for the annuitant L. van den Bout, according to a commemorative stone in the porch in 1909.
The corner gable of the dwelling, oriented obliquely to the road, has a low extension on the left side gable. The facades are constructed of red brickwork in English bond; the front facade is decorated with bands and arches in orange brickwork, combined with plastered arch blocks and glazed, green plinth and threshold stones and on the ground floor a likewise window sill moulding. The central section of the front facade is executed as a risalit in which the entrance is incorporated, which is partly executed in green glazed brickwork. Above the entrance is a balcony with rich, bulging Jugendstil-style iron railings, on sturdy, taut consoles.
Before the entrance a masonry flight of steps. Wooden, on the ground floor arched, window frames with sash windows and sober glass-in-lead fanlights; on the front facade on the ground floor coupled to three lights. At the balcony are casement doors with fanlight. The right side gable and the rear gable are among other things provided with some new windows or doors.
The dwelling is executed with a gabled roof, running as a pentroof over the extension, provided with overhangs with taut wind braces and covered with half-glazed Flemish tiles. In the interior various original components are present, such as among other things the ceilings in front and back room and hall; sliding doors with glass-in-lead and sliding shutters for the windows.
