Noordwestelijk van het voormalige hoofdgebouw van de Gemeentetram opgetrokken UTILITAIR BIJGEBOUW, bestaande uit deels geschakelde bouwvormen onder plat dak en in oorsprong met gescheiden ruimtes voor portiersloge, toiletgebouwtje, fietsenstalling, transformatorhuisje, lichtkoker en urinoir. Het deel met de portiersloge met afgeronde hoek op het NW en absidiaal interieur heeft een brede houten geprofileerde gootlijst, aan beide zijden van de ZW-hoek een venster en overhoeks houten beschot. Aan de binnenterrein-zijde een toegangsdeur met links venster met drie ramen. Aan de straatzijde een zesruits venster met houten dorpels en kalf en driezijdig uitgewerkte linkerstijl bij het kozijn. De portiersloge is door middel van een bovenaan decoratief afgesloten muur met dubbel openslaand hek verbonden met de utilitaire ruimten aan de waterzijde.
Hiervan is de rijwielstalling met open zijde naar het binnenterrein gericht en voorzien van brede, smalle en gelede vensters boven een houten latei, houten geprofileerde gootlijst, lantaarn met melkglas en decoratie op de ZW-hoek in Amsterdamse Schooltrant.
Het toiletgedeelte heeft de toegangsdeur aan de noordzijde, en voorts een bovenlicht met ruitvormige roedenverdeling, een serie van vijf vensters met horizontale roedenverdeling, aan de westzijde een zijdeur (in oorsprong niet dichtgemaakt). Het deel met transformatorhuisje bevat deuren met GEB-logo. Het deel met urinoir is in oorsprong voorzien van een open toegang onder halfronde boog.
Waardering In Amsterdamse Schooltrant uitgevoerd utiliair bijgebouw met bijheorende hekwerken bij het voormalig hoofdkantoor van de Gemeentetram van belang als complex-onderdeel wegens architectuur- en typologische waarde.

UTILITARIAN ANCILLARY BUILDING erected to the northwest of the former main building of the Municipal Tram, consisting of partly joined building forms under a flat roof and originally with separate spaces for porter's lodge, toilet building, bicycle storage, transformer house, light shaft and urinal. The section with the porter's lodge with rounded corner on the NW and apsidal interior has a broad wooden profiled gutter moulding, on both sides of the SW corner a window and diagonally placed wooden panelling. On the inner courtyard side an entrance door with window on the left with three panes. On the street side a six-pane window with wooden sills and centre muntin and three-sidedly articulated left muntin at the frame. The porter's lodge is connected by means of a wall with decorative closure at the top and double-opening gate to the utilitarian spaces on the water side.
Of this, the bicycle storage with open side facing the inner courtyard and furnished with broad, narrow and articulated windows above a wooden lintel, wooden profiled gutter moulding, lantern with opalescent glass and decoration on the SW corner in Amsterdam School style.
The toilet section has the entrance door on the north side, and further a fanlight with diamond-shaped glazing bars, a series of five windows with horizontal glazing bars, on the west side a side door (originally not sealed). The section with transformer house contains doors with GEB logo. The section with urinal is originally provided with an open access under a semi-circular arch.
