Inleiding
PASTORIE behorend bij de Nederlands Hervormde kerk en gebouwd in 1853 ineen zeer sobere aan de Waterstaatsstijl verwante stijl. In 1975 is de pastorie in opdracht kerkeraad gerestaureerd door Bureau Monumentenzorg van de provincie. Behalve de te beschermen naastliggende kerk is ook de achterliggende begraafplaats vermeldenswaardig.
Omschrijving
Op rechthoekige grondslag gebaseerd in baksteen opgetrokken huis met haaks op de achtergevel een kleine aangebouwde berging onder zadeldak, bestaande uit een bouwlaag en gedekt door een afgeknot schilddak belegd met oudhollandse pannen; dakkapel in voorste en zuidelijke dakschild; vier schoorstenen met kappen; eenvoudige geprofileerde goot op klossen. Gevelopbouw met getoogde vensters voorzien van zesruits schuiframen; noordelijke zijgevel met kelderraam met diefijzers en daar boven een vierruits schuifraam (opkamer). In de symmetrisch ingedeelde voorgevel een gebombeerde paneeldeur met bovenlicht met snijwerk en eenvoudige omlijsting.

Based on a rectangular plan, constructed in brick, a house with a small attached storage room at right angles to the rear facade under a gabled roof, consisting of one storey and covered by a hipped roof clad with old Dutch tiles; roof dormers in the front and southern roof slopes; four chimneys with caps; simple profiled gutter on corbels. Facade with arched windows provided with six-pane sash windows; northern side facade with basement window with theft bars and above it a four-pane sash window (upper room). In the symmetrically arranged front facade an arched panel door with fanlight with carved work and simple surround.
