Inleiding
Blok van drie DIENSTWONINGEN, gebouwd in opdracht van het Ministerie van Justitie voor de beambten van het ziekenhuis. De huizen zijn in 1893 ontworpen door W.C. Metzelaar volgens het toen geldende type IV. In 1908, na herindeling van de woningtypes, zijn ze verbouwd volgens woningtype II. Omschrijving
Evenwijdig aan de weg gelegen rij aaneengesloten woningen op rechthoekige plattegrond met platte aanbouw aan achterzijde. Het geheel is uit baksteen opgetrokken in een sobere en functionele stijl en wordt gedekt door een zadeldak met pannen; schoorstenen op de nok en in het achterste dakvlak; windveren; eenvoudige goot op klossen. De gevels worden bepaald door getoogde 6-ruits schuiframen met luiken; opgeklampte deur met 2-ruits bovenlicht; staafankers. Wit gepleisterde hoeklisenen. Topgevel met een klein 4-ruits raam.
