Inleiding
SS-BUNKER gebouwd tijdens de bezettingsjaren en behorend bij het Kamp Westerbork.
Omschrijving
Schuilbunker bestaande uit twee vertrekken en een toegang; het geheel is afgedekt door een aarden omwalling. De zijwanden en de wangen van de entree zijn in een afwijkende en zeldzame steen (steenformaat 10 x 10 x 21) opgetrokken. Het plafond bestaat uit gewapend beton (19 cm dik). Het tongewelf bij de entree en een gedeelte van de wangen is gemetseld in een harde klinker.
Waardering
SS-bunker van belang als essentieel onderdeel van het complex; voorts van architectuurhistorisch belang vanwege de typologie en het materiaalgebruik. Zeldzaam.

Shelter bunker consisting of two rooms and an entrance; the whole is covered by an earth embankment. The side walls and the cheeks of the entrance are built in a distinctive and rare stone (stone format 10 x 10 x 21). The ceiling consists of reinforced concrete (19 cm thick). The barrel vault at the entrance and part of the cheeks is built in hard clinker brick.

SS-bunker of importance as an essential component of the complex; furthermore of architectural-historical importance due to the typology and use of materials. Rare.
