Inleiding
BOERDERIJ gebouwd in 1910 voor Mej. R. Lanting uit Zwinderen, ontworpen door K. Huizing uit Oosterhesselen in traditionele trant met Jugendstil-elementen. De zuidwestgevel is aangepast en in dit dakschild is een dakkapel bijgeplaatst. De toegevoegde bijschuren vallen buiten de bescherming.
Omschrijving
Boerderij bestaande uit woonhuis en schuur. Het woonhuis is op rechthoekige grondslag gebaseerd, opgetrokken in baksteen en gedekt door een schilddak met geglazuurde kruispan; schoorstenen met kappen. Gevelopbouw met gepleisterde plint; vensters met oorspronkelijk kozijnhout en in het spaarveld bosschage afgedekt door een ontlastingsboog met sluitsteen; fries met bewerkte klossen en geprofileerde gootlijst. De symmetrisch ingedeelde voorgevel heeft een vooruitspringend middenstuk met natuurstenen stoep; portiek met Jugendstil tegeltableau aan de zijwanden; dubbele paneeldeur met naald en Jugendstil sierroosters; consoles ter onderbouwing van het uitkragende verhoogde middenstuk; op bewerkte consoles rustend balkon voorzien van sober bewerkte houten borstwering.
De schuur is in baksteen opgetrokken met een constructie van dekbalkgebinten aan een zijde verdubbeld, de schuur wordt gedekt door een afgewolfd rietdak, zuidelijke zijgevel deels vernieuwd met betonnen stalramen; oostgevel met staldeuren; getoogde gietijzeren 6-ruitsramen; staafankers en een getoogde baander met loopdeur. De noordelijke zijgevel heeft taatsdraaiende getoogde gietijzeren stalramen; staafankers. De westgevel (het deel naast het woonhuis) heeft een wagendeur en in het scheve gevelveld een getoogde baander met bijpassend 12-ruits bovenlicht; bovenlangs een geschulpte windveer.

Description
Farmhouse consisting of dwelling house and barn. The dwelling house is based on a rectangular ground plan, built in brick and covered by a hipped roof with glazed Dutch pan tiles; chimneys with caps. Facade construction with plastered plinth; windows with original frame wood and in the spandrel thicket covered by a relieving arch with keystone; frieze with worked knobs and moulded drip moulding. The symmetrically arranged front facade has a projecting central section with natural stone doorstep; porch with Art Nouveau tile tableau on the side walls; double panel door with nail and Art Nouveau decorative grilles; consoles to support the projecting raised central section; on worked consoles resting balcony provided with sober worked wooden balustrade.
The barn is built in brick with a structure of tie-beam trusses on one side doubled, the barn is covered by a curved thatched roof, southern side facade partly renewed with concrete stable windows; east facade with stable doors; arched cast-iron 6-pane windows; staple anchors and an arched loading doorway with matching door. The northern side facade has swivel-opening arched cast-iron stable windows; staple anchors. The west facade (the section next to the dwelling house) has a cart door and in the sloped facade section an arched loading doorway with matching 12-pane fanlight; along the top a carved wind brace.
Valuation
Farmhouse of architectural-historical significance because of its design (particularly because of the construction of the barn and because of the applied Art Nouveau decorations) and of urban-planning significance because of its image-determining location in relation to the structurally intact surroundings.
