Brug over het Kanaal uit ca. 1890, gebouwd in neo-renaissance stijl.
Omschrijving
De brug vormt de verbinding tussen de Haringkade en de Nieuwe Duinweg. De gemetselde bruggehoofden met natuurstenen dekplaat worden op de vier hoeken gemarkeerd door gebosseerde, natuurstenen pijlers, die bekroond worden door gietijzeren sierlantaarns met drie armaturen. De schacht van de lantaarns bestaat uit een voet met cannelures met daarop een Corintische zuil met eikebladversiering in het onderste deel. De smeedijzeren balustraden worden op de hoeken afgesloten door natuurstenen pijlers met cannelures en een vierzijdige dekplaat.
Waardering

Description
The bridge forms the connection between the Haringkade and the Nieuwe Duinweg. The brick bridge abutments with natural stone coping are marked at the four corners by bossed, natural stone piers, which are crowned by cast iron decorative lanterns with three fittings. The shaft of the lanterns consists of a base with fluting with on it a Corinthian column with oak leaf decoration in the lower part. The wrought iron balusters are closed at the corners by natural stone piers with fluting and a four-sided coping.
Valuation
Bridge of architectural-historical and typological significance as a functional example of a late 19th-century industrial object in neo-renaissance style. Form, detailing and material use are well preserved.
