Omschrijving
Een middeleeuws hoofdhuis van twee bouwlagen, een kap loodrecht op de straat, een kelder en een werfkelder, met een zijhuis van drie verdiepingen en kelder.
Hoewel het huis van duidelijk geringere omvang is, is de opzet gelijkwaardig aan de grote 14e eeuwse huizen langs de Oudegracht. Ook hier zijn de verdiepingshoogten van hoofd- en zijhuis verschillend. De hoogten in het hoofdhuis zijn echter niet meer rond de vijf en vier meter. Toch lijkt het aannemelijk dat het hoofd- en zijhuis van origine bij elkaar hoorden. Dit is zeker in de kelder nog zichtbaar. De hoofdkelder heeft twee doorgangen naar de zijkelder, waarvan de achterste origineel lijkt. Achter de hoofdkelder bevindt zich een dichtgemetselde kelder, kennelijk behoord hebbend tot een niet meer bestaand achterhuis. De kelders zijn gedekt met tongewelven.
De kap van het hoofdhuis (de kap van het zijhuis is afgebroken) bestaat uit vijf eiken spanten van twee jukken, met gestoken telmerken, waaroverheen eiken gordingen en sporen, hetgeen een vroeg 16e eeuwse datering mogelijk maakt.
De voorgevel is in de 18e eeuw verbouwd, waarbij ook de zolder ramen kreeg, de achtergevel is een gepleisterde tuitgevel. Het huis heeft een poortweg naar de Vinkenburgstraat.

Description
A medieval main house of two storeys, a roof truss perpendicular to the street, a cellar and a yard cellar, with a side house of three storeys and cellar.
Although the house is clearly of lesser size, the layout is equivalent to the large 14th century houses along the Oudegracht. Here too the storey heights of main and side house differ. However, the heights in the main house are no longer around five and four metres. Nevertheless, it seems plausible that the main and side house originally belonged together. This is still visible in particular in the cellar. The main cellar has two passages to the side cellar, the rear of which appears original. Behind the main cellar is a bricked-up cellar, apparently belonging to a no longer existing rear house. The cellars are covered with barrel vaults.
The roof truss of the main house (the roof truss of the side house has been demolished) consists of five oak trusses of two yokes, with struck carpenters' marks, over which run oak purlins and rafters, which permits a dating to the early 16th century.
The front facade was rebuilt in the 18th century, at which time the attic windows were also installed; the rear facade is a plastered spout gable. The house has a passage-way to the Vinkenburgstraat.
It is a reasonably intact medieval house, important in particular for its floor plan, the cellars, the roof truss structure and the remainder of the medieval shell.
